Thrillseekers (aka Steve Helstrip) started out making music like many aspiring producers, via a home studio. Originally, Helstrip was working on video game music for a well-known video game company, when his debut 12" was picked up and aggressively promoted by trance juggernaut DJ Paul Van Dyk. After extensive studio work, Helstrip also began to pursue a DJ career. The split mix CD/remix showcase Nightmusic, Vol. 1 was released in 2006 with Vol. 2 arriving a year later.

N.W.A (Niggaz with Attitude) was a Compton, California-based hip hop group widely considered one of the seminal acts of the gangsta rap sub-genre.Active from 1986 to 1991, the group endured controversy due to the explicit nature of their lyrics. They were subsequently banned from many mainstream U.S. radio stations and even at times prevented from touring - yet the group has still sold over 9 million units in the U.S. alone. Their second album, Straight Outta Compton, marked the beginning of the new gangsta rap era as the production and the social commentary in their lyrics were revolutionary within the genre.[1] Rolling Stone ranked N.W.A. eighty-third on their list of the "100 Greatest Artists of All Time". Although largely unknown at the group's inception, rappers Dr. Dre, Ice Cube, Eazy-E, MC Ren, and The D.O.C. would all go on to be platinum-selling stars as solo artists.

Paul Van Dyke

Matthias Paul; December 16, 1971 (1971-12-16) in Eisenhüttenstadt, Brandenburg, East Germany) is one of the world's leading electronic dance music DJs and producers.Was a trance producer in the early 1990's, but has stated in interview that he no longer defines his music as trance.
Van Dyk grew up in East Berlin, where he kept in touch with the world beyond the Berlin Wall by secretly listening to the popular but forbidden Western radio stations RIAS (Radio in the American Sector) and SFB and mixtapes occasionally smuggled into the country copied among school friends.
Now he is now one of the best dj's in the world and he is married with Natascha van Dyk, who also appears on some of his releases (Vocals on "Together We Will Conquer"). The two were married in Cancún, Mexico.

Nightwish

Nightwish is a Finnish Metal quintet, formed in 1996 in the town of Kitee,Finland.

Although they have been prominent in their home country since the release of their first single, “The Carpenter” (1997) and debut album Angels Fall First, they did not achieve worldwide fame until the release of the albums Oceanborn and Wishmaster, which were released in 1998 and 2000 respectively. Their 2004 album,Once, led to Nightwish video clips being shown on MTV in the United States and inclusion of their music in U.S. movie soundtracks. Their biggest U.S. hit single, “Wish I Had an Angel” (2004), made it onto three U.S. film soundtracks as a means to promote their North American tour. The band produced three more singles and two music videos for the album, as well as “Sleeping Sun”, from the 2005 “best of” compilation album, Hightest Hopes, prior to vocalist Tarja Tarunen’s dismissal.

In May, 2007, former AOR act Alyson Avenue frontwoman Anette Olzon was revealed as Tarja’s replacement, and in the autumn, the band released a new album Dark Passion Play, for which the band is currently touring.

Pantera

The preeminent metal band of the early to mid-'90s, Pantera put to rest any and all remnants of the '80s metal scene, almost single-handedly demolishing any notion that hair metal, speed metal, power metal, et al., were anything but passé. Loathe to admit it, the Texas band had in fact been one of those '80s metal bands, releasing fairly unsuccessful (and later disowned) glam-inspired music throughout much of the decade. The about-face came with the addition of vocalist Phil Anselmo.
At the height of their popularity and influence, Pantera began to self-destruct.
The end of Pantera then became official on December 8, 2004, when guitarist Dimebag Darell was murdered on-stage by a deranged fan.
